Summer Weekend Away
Last year’s Church Weekend Away was SOOOO good we’re doing it again!
Friday 7th to Sunday 9th July, 2023
This is no ‘church conference’ weekend - it’s a weekend to get away and enjoy yourself!
We’re going back to Heatree House, an activity centre on Dartmoor. There are fantastic facilities for us to enjoy a leisurely weekend of fun activities, relaxing time away and each other’s company.
The weekend will be fully catered (although we will all have to do the odd shift of setting tables or washing up). We’ll plan different activities and are waiting on confirmation about experiences, which will have an additional cost. Whatever you like doing, we will have something for everyone and every age - even if your something is finding a comfy chair and a book!
There will be a few optional ‘churchy’ activities, but mostly it’s just a fun time away, so feel free to invite non-Vineyard friends and family to come. The more the merrier!

Accommodation
Due to the nature of the accommodation we are planning for family households to be in one room together.
For the “weekend away sleepover experience”, teenagers and older children can go in dorm rooms (these will be single-sex and around 5 to a room).
If there is available capacity you can have a separate room for your children, but there may be a small surcharge.
Cost
This price is inclusive of accommodation, food and soft drinks for the whole weekend.

The early bird rate is available for bookings and payment (or first instalment) made before the end of January.
This price has been subsidised by the church, because we know time together like this is really important. If cost is an obstacle to you coming please let us know as we have a bursary available and we want you to be there!
There is the option to pay in instalments over seven months.
